			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The team trains together 4 days per week under the watchful eye of volunteer coach, &#8220;Doc&#8221; Robert Mitchell (President of the Australian Weightlifting Federation). The Club&#8217;s success is built on the Doc&#8217;s unparalleled passion to increase the accessibility and participation levels in the sport of Olympic Weightlifting.</p>

<p>Training is programmed collectively for both our elite and recreational lifters, focusing on optimal competition preparation and injury prevention. Beginners to Olympic Weightlifting will focus on learning the movements correctly, progressing to the team training program and then competing in their first competition.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Burwood PCYC membership fees are very affordable at around $40/month. Training with the Burwood Weightlifting Club is free of charge &#8211; there are no sign up fees or training program fees. Training times are from 5pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and from 9am Saturday.</p>

<p>Olympic Weightlifters come from all walks of life, working together to inspire our minds and to strengthen our bodies in pursuit of our best. Drop in during our training times and give it a go, you will be amazed at what you can achieve!</p>
